The members of Yi YUVA REC organized an offline workshop on personal finance, FinFluent, on 28th March 2025 at Rajalakshmi Engineering College. The session was led by Dr. M. Pattabiraman, a renowned personal finance expert from the Department of Physics at IIT Madras, who shared his deep insights and practical wisdom on managing money effectively. The session, titled "How to Become a Crorepati on Auto-Pilot?", provided actionable insights into effective money management. The workshop was highly welcomed among students with over 200+ participants. The speaker emphasized on maximizing income through skill enhancement, disciplined investing and financial automation for seamless wealth creation. The session also reinforced the importance of balancing present enjoyment with future security. Concluding with an interactive Q&A, which enabled the attendees to gain deeper financial insights. With practical strategies and real-world applications, FinFluent empowered the participants to take control of their personal finances confidently, fostering a holistic approach to building a secure financial future.
